Life Back On The Track Relay
Today start a great thing for Penn State. All you know Penn State as the university/college that has had problem with there football program but on the other side of the coin, 10 Distance Running Alumnis of Penn State are doing one great thing. It is it for the The Kevin Dare Foundation one guy Penn State that died during a Big Ten Indoor Meet at University of Minnesota in the pole valut after hitting his head on the metal planting box where he had planted his pole for the jump. Sad thing but a great thing they guys are doing. Also, they are trying for the World 1000 Miles Record. The current record is 99 Hours 3 minutes, 27 seconds. They are starting out at University of Minnesota Fieldhouse today and finish out at Penn State Outdoor Track on Friday. If you are adding up what there time would have to be per mile it would have to be 5:50 a mile or better and I think they can do it. The 10 Penn State runners are Kyle & Owen Dawson, Brian Fuller, Luke Watson, Ryan Blood, Dennis Pollow, Ryan Foster, Teddy Quinn, Vince McNally, & Nick Hilton. Good Luck you guys I will be running all my run from now until Friday for you guys and I will be pulling for you guys. Lastly, you can follow the relay on twitter @LifeBackonTheTrackRelay and on the blog http://lifebackontrack.com/
