This blog is about Erik Sowinski. If you don't know who Erik Sowinski is I will educate you. Erik went to Waukesha West High School in Wuakesha, WI. Waukesha is about 20 mintues from Milwaukee, WI then he went to University Of Iowa to run. After University of Iowa he went to Olympic Track Trials in 2012 in the 800 to try to get into the Olympics in teh 800 for USA. This year he raced the 600 at Milrose Games against two 2012 Olympians, Duane Solomon & Nick Symmonds, and beat them in the 600 meter race. Also, in the 600 meter race he got the American Record for the 600 with only being addmited on Wednesday before Milrose Game on Saturday. Then at the Indoor Championsips he raced the 800 and beat an Olympian Matthew Centrowitz and still didn't have a contract with any shoe company. Fast forward to yesterday May 7th, 2013 there was a twit by Erik himself saying Paperwork is in the mail and now I can say Erik Sowinski is signed by Nike. Way to go Erik. Love ya, buddy
