St. Nobert Invite
Last Saturday I ran my first Steeplechase in almost a year. I felt weird for the first couple of Steeples and I felt like I was home back to the Steeplechase. This was the first time that I ran on St. Nobert's Track and it was an ok track but it was a great facity. Also, for my time time back to the Steeplechase I ran a 13:33. I would have been faster but I was to close to the steeple when I jumped the barriers and I stutter step to the Steeple and I have another chance to better my Steeplechase time at Last Chance Meet

UW-Platteville Invite
My race last Saturday was the 10K at UW-Platteville Invite. This mwas a race on my bucket list for a couple of years. I wanted to run the 10K at UW-Platteville under the lights and I got to cross this off my list with the lights turning on towards the end of the 10K. UW-Platteville has now my favorite outdoor track. Even though I didn't get a pr I won The Men's 10K with a time of 41:00.35. I coolest thing about my race was that I had so many people cheering for me and yelling splits for me. Also, Josh Kaul from UW-La Crosse video taped my race and interviewed me after the race just like Flotrack and that was amazing of him to do for me. I would race there in a heartbeat if I could and they would let me
Rex Foster Invite
This blog is about my 5K race at Rex Foster Invite which was at UW-Whitewater. It was cool that I got to run with Whitewater, Stevens Points and one of Distance Running Idol Marquette Distance Runner Spencer Agnew. I knew that I was going to last place and be lapped in the race. The one thing I found interesting about the mmeet was that it was 30-40 minutes behind schedule and that was interesting cause UW-Whitewater is never behind schedule they are on and/or ahead of meet schedule. Inb the 5K I got another pr and it was a 6 second pr, 19:39.

Carroll University Invite
My second meet of the outdoor season was last weekend and it was Carroll University Invite. This was a great meet for me cause it was 10K season opener for me, it was not only Carroll University Invite but it was Alumni Invite as well. It was cool to see 6 distance, 1 sprinting and 2 field event alumni come back to compete in this week. The race of the meet was the 10K cause a lot of guys, about 8 guys including me, were in the race & they combined the 10K with the men & women in the race. The 10K race was mostly made up of Carroll Runners, Carroll Alumnis & another runners from different College and we called it A 10K Party cause there were so many Carroll Runners & 2 Alumnis including me as one of the Alumni. This 10K was just a fun race to run in cause I didn't feel like I was racing against competion but running against family and we that I almost got a 3 minute pr in the 10K. My time was 40:40.40 and I am not lieing about that time it is the real finish for me. Today I have my next meet, Rex Foster Invite on UW-Whitewater Outdoor Track where I will be running the 5K.

The State Of College Sports
Last night on The NBC Sports Network there was a special show on called Costas Tonight and they talked about The State Of College Sports, which I think, is the wrong name for the show. The show focused more on college football & basketball then all sport in college. The title of ths ow was The State Of College Sport not The State Of College Football & Basketball. The show talked about Football & Basketball like they were the only sport that are at Colleges/Universities when there is other sports that don't get notice at Colleges/Universities and cause of that they are cut from the College/University so that means, in my mind, more money for Football and/or Basketball. I think that sucks. The one bright spor on the show was that they had Andy Young and one of the guys from the Millersville's Cross Country/Track athlete Michael Parker to talk about Millersville's Men Cross Country/Track program being cut case of, I think, both Title IX & Football & Basketball. I think that if they made a show about The State of College Sport they should talk about all College Sports not just two College/University Sports. Get it right NBC Sports. College Sports is not just Football & Basketball it is all sports at Colleges/Universities.

2012 First Outdoor Meet: Ripon Invite
Well 2012 Indoor Track Season is over and now it is 2012 Outdoor Season and the first meet I had on March 24 was the Ripon Invite where I ran the 5K. This meet was my club that I run for GMTC, Greater Milwaukee Club. This meet was a lot of waiting around for my race cause it was in the afternoon towrds the end of the meet so I watch a lot the GMTC memebers run, jump and throw in their event before mine. This was a slow meet and I thought that they would never get to the 5K. In the 5K I was so close to getting a pr in the 5K. My time was 19:48 and my pr is 19:45. It was a great start to the 2012 Outdoor Track Season
